T.D. Seven was officially classified as a tropical system by the Hurricane Center this morning, about the same time as this satellite shot was taken. Pretty impressive looking for only being a depression. Expect it to be named Gustav before too long. Movement is NW@15 with the track currently taking it up over Cuba in a few days. Hard to say right now whether it will go north or south of Cuba and how it will affect the Gulf.
