Ice Storm Warning downgraded

At 10pm, the National Weather Service has downgraded the Ice Storm Warning for the metro area to a Freezing Rain Advisory, due mainly to the lowered expectation for the amount of ice expected. Less than 1/4" of freezing rain, possible mixed at times with sleet, is expected by noon Tuesday.

Also at 10pm, the I-40 and I-55 bridges across the Mississippi River are at a standstill thanks to a light coating of ice and several wrecks. Check the road conditions links to the right for more info.
