New poll posted on the MWN Blog!

A new poll has been posted on the MWN Blog (blog.memphisweather.net). Look in the right-hand margin and tell me how you currently get your weather warnings. Is it by TV or radio, a NOAA Weather Radio, the internet, or do you have them delivered to you by email or text message? Hey we're still a democratic society - take a minute to vote by March 26 and you'll have my eternal gratitude! Poll results will be posted a week from today.

I found the Emergency Email Network (http://www.emergencyemail.org/) several years ago and have been a subscriber since. Very valuable service because you get much more than just weather alerts.

Thanks for the great link, Kevin. I had heard of this before but not looked into it thoroughly. Looks liek a good one, especially for non-weather emergencies as it covers a large spectrum of emergencies.

Of course, I can't let it go by without pitching MWN's severe weather notification service which I have just upgraded as well. It too does a great job, if I do say so myself, with severe weather in the metro area - WXLIVE! Severe Weather

Thanks again!
